چکیده

Background: Humans' role in small industries as a source of labor is still dominant, mostly manual work. The research was conducted on workers agel fiber Yogyakarta. Manual work related to human strength and endurance. Ergonomic problems often arise labor, including neck pain, back leg pain called musculoskeletal disorders. Non-ergonomic working conditions also increase the electrical activity muscles. This study aims reduce muscle complaints by repairing an ergonomic workstation twisting process. Methods: experimental with 15 female subjects. muscles measured when under conventional (Period 1) station 2). using surface electromyography. Musculoskeletal were before after intervention repair Nordic Body Map Questionnaire. measurement data between two periods analyzed paired samples t-test Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Results: results showed decrease upper trapezius muscles' 35.46% erector spinae 22.43%. average decreased 23.77%, period 1 2.Conclusion: can muscles, rope.

Measurements of the trapezius and erector spinae muscles using virtual touch imaging quantification ultrasound-Elastography: a cross section study

BACKGROUND This study uses virtual touch imaging quantification (VTIQ) technology for the first time to conduct measurements of the trapezius and erector spinae muscles in a large study population. The significance of various influencing factors, such as age and sex, are also examined. METHOD The study population comprised 278 subjects. The Siemens Acuson S3000 and VTIQ technology were used f...

Magnetic resonance imaging of the erector spinae muscles in Duchenne muscular dystrophy: implication for scoliotic deformities

BACKGROUND In Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), the muscular degeneration often leads to the development of scoliosis. Our objective was to investigate how anatomical changes in back muscles can lead to scoliosis. Muscular volume and the level of fat infiltration in those muscles were thus evaluated, in non-scoliotic, pre-scoliotic and scoliotic patients. The overlying skin thickness over the ...
